Ingrid Ledent est née en
1955 à Brasschaat en Belgique. Elle a étudié la gravure à l’Académie
royale des Beaux-Arts d’Anvers de 1973 à 1978 avant de se spécialiser en
lithographie pendant un an au studio Rudolf Broulim de l’Académie des
Arts appliqués de Prague en Tchécoslovaquie. En 1981 elle obtient son
master à la Haute Ecole des Beaux-Arts d’Anvers. Elle a également suivi
plusieurs stages portant sur différentes techniques : l’héliogravure
auprès de Graig Zammielo, maître graveur à U.L.A.E., Long Island, New
York (U.S.A.), les monotypes chez Joe Zirker (U.S.A.), la fabrication du
papier avec le professeur Don Cortese de l’Ecole d’Arts de l’Université
de Syracuse University, New York (U.S.A.), la lithographie sèche avec
Jeff Sippel, maître graveur de l’atelier Tamarind à Albuquerque
(U.S.A.), de lihotgraphie spécialisée avec le professeur Lynne Allen de
l’Université Rudgers dans le New Jersey (U.S.A.) et enfin de céramique
auprès de Paul Perdiues, Johan Van Geert et Rudy Delanghe à la Haute
Ecole Karel de Grote à Anvers (Belgique).
Ingrid Ledent was born in
1955 in Brasschaat (Belgium). She studied graphic art at the Royal
Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp between 1973 and 1978, then she
specialized in lithography for one year in Rudolf Broulim’s studio at
the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague (Czech Republic). In 1981 she
obtained her Master Degree at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts
in Antwerp. She also followed several workshops in different techniques.

Ingrid Ledent est professeur de lithographie à l’Académie royale des
Beaux-Arts d’Anvers depuis 1984. Elle a aussi donné des stages de
lithographie à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Turku en Finlande, à
l’Université de Santa Cruz à Tenerife en Espagne, à l’Académie des
Beaux-Arts de Hasselt en Belgique, à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de
Cracovie en Pologne, à l’Université de Tianjin en Chine, à l’Atelier de
gravure “Daglicht” à Eindhoven aux Pays-Bas et au Centre Frans Masereel
à Kasterlee en Belgique. Elle a été invitée comme membre associé au
S.G.C de l’Université d’Austin au Texas (U.S.A.) et à l’Université
Rudgers au New Jersey, toujours aux U.S.A. Elle a enfin donné des
conférences aux Universités de Shenzhen et Tianjin en Chine, à
l’Association des Artistes de Tallinn en Estonie et à l’Association des
lithographes Finlandais à Helsinki en Finlande.
Ingrid Ledent is professor of lithography at the Royal Academy of Fine
Arts in Antwerp since 1984. She has given workshops in lithography at
the Academy of Fine Arts in Turku (Finland), at the University of Santa
Cruz in Tenerife (Spain), at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hasselt (Belgium),
at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Poland), at the University of
Tianjin(China), at the printshop “Daglicht” in Eindhoven (The
Netherlands) and at the Frans Masereel Center in Kasterlee (Belgium).
She was invited as member of a panel at the S.G.C. at the University of
Austin,Texas(U.S.A.) and at the Rudgers University in New Jersey
(U.S.A.) She gave lectures at the University of Shenzhen and Tianjin
(China), at the Artist Association in Tallinn (Estonia) and at the
Association of Finnish Lithographers in Helsinki (Finland).
